Ocean Learning Trust have employed SchoolCare to provide and maintain our ICT network since 2016 following a formal tender. We have been grateful for the excellent advice and support they give and for their willingness to collaborate on bespoke ventures such as a Trust intranet and in extending the network to incorporate new schools. They respond quickly to our needs, ensuring they are easy to make contact with. They seek feedback and are always seeking to improve and provide a high quality service to our schools and central management team.
I would like to express to yourself and the company what a noticeable difference moving our internet provision and additional services to SchoolCare has made to our school over this first year. Not only has our internet speed increased, it has been reliable and we have not suffered any downtime, which is massively important to s as we rely heavily on the internet for our communication aids. The move was so easy to transfer and we were hand held all the way. We also took the leap and moved our email exchange server to be hosted by yourself. This has had a huge impact on the workload and the administration console is easy to use. your helpdesk is quick to reply and any help we need is given quickly. I would highly recommend any school thinking about their provision not to hesitate moving to SchoolCare. Moving has saved us a great deal of money which in turn we can now spend on extra I.T resources. The only question I can see is "Why didn't we move before"?

Schoolcare were tasked with replacing the old hall projector and screen. This was carried out extremely efficiently by the team, and I was particularly impressed with the fact that they queried some of the information they had been given to make sure that the install was exactly what the school required. Ultimately, something had to be changed and the installers stayed on site for much longer than originally expected, in order to get the job done. The install was done cleanly and neatly and the school is really pleased with the results.
Just wanted to say what a fantastic job Gary and Alex did installing our new Activ Panels, they were both really helpful, everything went so smoothly and there was no disruption to the normal school day. Several staff have told me how impressed they were at how smoothly it all went and many thanks to Chris too for saving the day with the software issue. I am delighted to have SchoolCare as our IT support provider. SchoolCare have been very helpful in the planning, implementation and support of a new server installation, migrating 280 pupils and over 50 staff to office 365 and to improve the schools Wi-Fi connectivity, reliability and most importantly security. I’d like to pass on my thanks to your team: we had a power outage, which shut down the server room and caused no end of dramas across the school. Paul was great – tried everything to help over the phone first of all, before coming across himself and sorting it out for us. I really appreciated his help and speed in getting us back ‘on-line’. I continue to be pleased that we chose to move our IT support across to SchoolCare, the phone support is always thorough and George has really become part of the team here at St Michael’s Primary School.
Wadham School in Crewkerne, Somerset has been working with SchoolCare for over 15 years. We have purchased hardware, software and network products from then and I have always been impressed from the initial discussions about the project to the final installation and commissioning. SchoolCare offers help and advice via their support line and email. They provide a fast and efficient solution to all problems and always provide a follow up if required. In September 2010, it became evident that our existing server infrastructure needed to be updated to meet the increasing demands from staff and students. SchoolCare was able to offer a wide variety of solutions from to the problem and explain these to all involved in the project. They were able to adjust initial quotes to fit in with the budget of the school. The final solution was chosen was to virtualise all of the servers. SchoolCare was able to fit in with the timescale to get the project complete working through times when the school was closed thereby not inconveniencing staff and students. The project was completed by the agreed date. The decision to virtualise all the servers has proved to be the right one. Further expansion of the number of servers has now taken place without the need to purchase new hardware. The upgrade has also provided a firm foundation for further expansion in forthcoming years.
